The SUH35 material which is known for it's high heat resistance properties are usually used for the exhaust side. We chose to use it for the Intake side to suit the the demands of todays users for big power applications and for increased life. Since the exhaust side can experience extreme exhaust gas temperatures of 1,000 degrees C (1,832 degrees F) during high power use the Inconel 751 material was no doubt the best option to choose to suit serious needs when every detail counts.
