Up to 50% stronger by design and material specification, these gears are designed to give the maximum performance possible whilst retaining the stock casings with no other modifications needed. Material specification: 18crNiMo7/6 Stock Bearings compatible All gears are sold as a matched pair that has been footprint checked by hand at the factory. Available in superfinished (ISF) or Carbonlafer coating.

CarbonLafer is a Tungsten carbide based multi-layered amorphous WC/C coating, suitable for any applications where it is necessary to reduce friction between mechanical components and where the objective is to reduce the use of lubricants. Its main characteristic is that it has an extremely low friction coefficient, strong adhesion and sufficient hardness to support important mechanical duties. Suitable for use on medical instruments in accordance with ISO 10993-5:2009 norm, CarbonLafer is also suitable for contact with food as per REG EU 1935/2004.
